In the early morning hours on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Stan Jennings returned home to the arms of his Father in Heaven. He passed away from complications related to a massive heart attack.
Stan was an anchor and longtime member of the Northern Utah Division of the NMRA. He volunteered to be our Division Treasurer, Train Show Chairman, Clinic Coordinator, 2019 National Convention Volunteer Coordinator, a Director for the Rocky Mountain Region, a member of the Hostlers Model Railroad Club and much more. Stan had a great love for anything related to prototype and model trains. He was the historian for the Promontory Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. He attended many model and prototype conventions in the west. Stan was always willing to discuss the history and share his knowledge of railroads in the area. He also had a great love of automobiles and attended Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats many times.
