The Utah State Developmental Center provides an effective, efficient array of critical services and supports that promote independence and quality of life for Utah’s most vulnerable people with disabilities in partnership with families, guardians, and the community. This layout is done as a school project by the students of the Developmental Center. Enter the facility from 900 East and go about 3/4 of the way around the roundabout and then exit the roundabout. The old gym should be in front of you.
Rules: There is no handicap access. There is no smoking inside. There is a bath-room available. Children need to be well behaved and supervised. Parking is in the parking lot for the old gym The layout can handle around 12 visitors at time. Entry is through the door on the loading dock. Questions are welcome. Please feel free to take pictures.
Etiquette: When visiting, don’t criticize and don’t touch the equipment. Stay as long as you like, being mindful of other visitors Please sign the guest book.
Carpool: Parking is not an issue however the layout is not local so carpooling might be a good idea.
