A huge congratulations to Doug! When receiving his award he shared a story that basically said in becoming a MMR is a way to make one a better modeler. Also it took 25+ years to get to this point. Well said. Yes, when Doug started working on his paperwork a couple years ago, he had everything completed to earn his MMR. So it’s not that it only took a couple years but in all the years he has been working on model railroading has led up to this point. Now, after filling out all the paperwork, he is recognized as our newest Master Model Railroader in the Northern Utah Division, NMRA!
