There’s so much more to this hobby than just “building trains in your basement!” With modular layouts you can build them in your basement and then take them to the train show to share with others! Here I am with two of my modules. When setup at a train show they don’t look that big. When in the house where I can work on them, they take up a lot of space! I finally got more done on one of them but more on that elsewhere.
A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to put on a great train show. Thanks to everyone who is so dedicated. Whether I’m just attending or participating in a show, usually the best part for me is seeing all the people. It’s fun to see friends but also fun to see the public enjoying trains, old and young alike.
Don’t forget we are now meeting at Stadler for our Division meetings. I couldn’t make it last month so I’m looking forward to the meeting on Saturday. I heard it went well. Kevin has lots of clinics lined up so I hope to see you there. Even if the topic of the clinic isn’t at the top of your list to learn about, we still want you to come out so we can catch up with how you are doing. There is always a lot we can learn, do and share and that way we can enjoy the journey together!
