There’s so much more to this hobby than just “building trains in your basement!” This month’s selfie is actually a selfie collage! Just a few of the selfies I took at E24. While I had great fun running trains, I enjoyed even more interacting with friends I hadn’t seen in awhile as well as meeting new friends. So with over 100 “friends” we enjoyed 24 hr. model railroading with NTRAK, T-TRAK and Free-moN. Plus clinics and seeing the real trains run by outside. Blaine recently was voted in as the new Vice President for the Rocky Mountain Region. Because of this he has decided to step down as Assistant Superintendent in the Division. He will continue his duties with the Pizza Box Layouts. Mike Dean has agreed to fill the Assistant Superintendent role and the Board of Directors voted unanimously for that at our last board meeting. This now leaves a vacancy for a Director position which Blaine is willing to fill, if needed. If anyone else would like to be considered for the position email me before the upcoming board meeting. The Board will be voting to fill the position at our board meeting just before the general meeting.
There is a lot going on in our division. I’m grateful to all who step up and volunteer their time to make things happen. Without all of you we would not have such an awesome division. We look forward to seeing you at the monthly meetings and all the other activities so we can enjoy the journey together!
